First a little about me:
I started capping horses about four or five years ago quite a bit with JoeyP and UltimateCapper. Over the last five years myself and a couple of friends have been working on a computer program of sorts (its basically a really complicated excel sheet) to do the work for us. We realized that we were basically doing the same thing over and over again and wondered if we could get the excel sheet to do it for us.
All of us work full time jobs and worked on this on the side. Myself I am a teacher, so this summer when I was off from teaching, I spent an amazing amount of hours to get this thing working. And it is!!!

Here is how it works...
The goal of HorseBettingDirect is to produce a pick/PP sheet that is quick and easy to read. While we rely heavily on pace, our system makes over 3,000 calculations on an average race and produces a set of numbers for a number of different categories.

All of these figures are used to determine an overall HBD Rating. Our sheets are sorted by overall HBD rating.
